I'm calling on the Biden administration to take immediate action to protect DACA and Temporary Protected Status recipients. Add your name to join me. | | President Biden has an opportunity to cement his legacy as a leader who keeps families together and protects people who have helped make our country great. TPS and DACA recipients in Nevada and across the country are contributing to our communities and fueling our economy, and they deserve as much protection and reassurance as possible.
I'm talking about people from Ecuador, El Salvador and Nicaragua who must have their Temporary Protected Status extended. Sending them back to their home countries would endanger their safety and tear families apart.
I'm also talking about DREAMers who know no other home than the United States. DACA recipients trying to renew their status deserve to have their applications processed as quickly as possible, before they come under threat from Donald Trump's administration. | | We know what Donald Trump is going to do because, unfortunately, we've seen it before – only now, he's even more emboldened with threats of mass deportations and dismantling our asylum system. We have a chance to do something about it, but we must act now.
These actions are very simple.
