Democrats continue to seek accountability for state Republicans who actively participated in the Jan. 6th insurrection → 2️⃣ Wisconsin: Justices order new district maps to be drawn In Wisconsin, a state with extremely gerrymandered district maps, Democrats recently won a years-long fight in the courts in a ruling that ordered new district maps to be drawn. The previous maps unconstitutionally gerrymandered the state, and new, fair maps could be a massive win for voting rights and the people of Wisconsin who have been fighting for fair representation → 3️⃣ Texas: New state laws passed to ban DEI offices in public universities In Texas, Republicans' newest attack on diversity and inclusivity comes as legislation took effect banning DEI offices in public universities.
