There's conflict, including ongoing wars in Ukraine and Yemen and massive escalation of violence in Israel, Gaza and Sudan. There's disaster, from massive earthquakes in Türkiye, Syria and Afghanistan to cyclones in Bangladesh, Myanmar and Vanuatu. And there's a hunger crisis that's only worsening because of these conflicts and disasters, along with the impacts of the climate crisis and economic hardship.
