Democrats just nominated:

Team, it's never been more clear: Our path to retaking the House runs directly through New York State.

I'm doing everything I can to make sure that we're ready to win back the battleground districts that we lost in 2022. And now we're about to face our first real test.

George Santos has officially been expelled from Congress, which means that we're heading into a critical special election in this battleground district. And Democrats just nominated former Congressman Tom Suozzi to flip NY-03 blue! Please, will you split a gift of $5 or more between my friend Tom Suozzi and my campaign? Every dollar gets us closer to winning back this seat and retaking control of the House.

In 2022 New York was one of the only places in the country to see a red wave materialize. And when all the votes were counted, the four seats that the GOP picked up here — including George Santos' — were enough to retake control of the House. It was the best election cycle for Republicans here in decades.

Now, they're gearing up to expand on their victories in 2024, investing in more battleground districts and even targeting my Senate seat. But with this special election, we have a chance to stop them in their tracks.

As the sole New York Democrat at the top of the ticket in 2024, I'm doing absolutely everything that I can to fend off another red wave and build Democratic momentum across our state. But it's going to be a razor-thin race. This special election — in a district President Biden won by nearly 9 points — would give us a major advantage over the GOP. We cannot let it go to waste.

But the GOP's megadonors know exactly how important this election is. And they'll be writing huge checks to keep this district red.
