1️⃣ A new, high-profile GOP opponent jumped into the race against Katie—a famous baseball player with megadonors at the ready.
2️⃣ Governor Newsom officially called a special election in California's Senate race after Senator Feinstein passed. This means there will technically be two Senate elections side-by-side on the ballot—which doubles campaign contribution limits, putting our small-dollar funded campaign at a major disadvantage.
