Then, they issued even more disastrous rulings that undermined our ability to fight climate change, stopped student debt relief, and ended affirmative action. Meanwhile, Justice Clarence Thomas has been plagued by shocking scandals. His wife has been linked to the Jan. 6 insurrection, but he refused to recuse himself from those cases. And reporting has revealed he spent DECADES accepting lavish gifts and vacations from a right-wing megadonor. It's no wonder why so many Americans no longer trust the Supreme Court.
