For years, I was a leader in my kids' Cub Scout troop—where planning ahead was a big priority. I bring that same preparedness to our campaign, and budgeting is an important part of that. We're laying out our campaign's budget and strategy for the next few months so I'm reaching out to our supporters: Can you make a donation today so we have the funds to reach voters across the state?
In addition to helping us plan, dollars given now (while we're still over six months out from our primary) literally help us do more with less. Early contributions help us lock in better TV advertisement rates. It's sort of like buying a plane ticket: when you buy in advance, you have more options and better prices. But if you're scrambling to buy the week before, you might find yourself paying top dollar for a middle seat on a 6:00 AM flight.
