In 2022, some of the most critical issues facing our nation were on the ballot: abortion, voting rights, health care access, and the fate of our very democracy.  We faced historic headwinds, but grassroots activists like you refused to give up. And together, you powered Democrats to victory all across the country, expanding our blue firewall. But the fight isn't over, team. We're facing the same stakes in 2023 and 2024. There are 14 governor's races on the ballot, and with Washington divided, Democratic governors are still our best and last line of defense against the GOP's radical MAGA agenda. Meanwhile, Democratic governors are fighting for everyday people – making that difference particularly apparent in the states.  🔴 States: Republicans are rolling back people’s rights and attacking the very foundations of our free society.  🔵 States: Democrats are protecting and expanding voting rights.  🔴 States: So-called leaders do nothing even though gun violence is the leading cause of death for kids in America.  🔵 States: Democratic governors act to keep our kids safer from gun violence.  🔴 States: Republicans ban books and put 34 million kids at risk of losing guaranteed mental health care. 🔵 States: Democrats invest in education. There is simply no morality to it. For the GOP, politics is just about greed, power, and a far-right agenda that’s wrong for families and wrong for our country.  I promise you that Democratic governors like me are fighting every single day to protect and expand our fundamental rights in states across the country. But we can't do this alone. If we want to save our blue firewall in 2023 and 2024, we have to be able to compete with the GOP's megadonors.
