 | | | |  Friend, I know it's hard to believe, but this little girl is me. Back then, my number one priority was getting outside. I didn't care whether I was riding my dirt bike, fishing, or rock climbing – I just wanted to tackle every challenge and find every adventure I could.
Who could've known that protecting those very public lands I used to spend my weekends exploring would one day be part of my job? That I'd go from blazing a trail on my dirt bike to blazing a trail as our country's first Latina senator?
| | Or that one day the challenge I'd be up against would be nearly $50 million in spending from GOP extremists spreading vicious lies about me and a poll showing me one point behind an opponent who could be the 51st vote for a nationwide abortion ban? | | I've never shied away from a challenge, not then or now, but I'm going to need your help on this one, friend.
