After giving his campaign an initial $20 million on launch, he must've seen that it worked—so he doubled down with another $8 million dollar contribution.

He is trying to buy this election. This wasn't a one-off donation to make a splash in this race. He knows he can use his obscene wealth to completely blanket the airwaves with TV ads—which he's already spent upwards of $17 million on.

We can't let him get away with this. I spent my time in Congress standing up to rich people trying to get their way, and I'm sure as hell not going to stop now.

We have to show him the most important governor's office in the country is not for sale.
