Friend, 7-month-old Ikran* was sick for months with a fever and chest infection, becoming severely malnourished and weak.  Her mother, Faisa*, traveled an hour to a health center for treatment — but due to aid cuts, they’d run out of lifesaving prepackaged therapeutic milk. The supplement being used in its place wasn’t helping children recover as quickly, and staff only had a few months of medical supplies and salaries left. Save the Children provided salaries and supplies on a month-by-month basis so they had enough therapeutic milk to help Ikran and other kids — but there’s no telling how long this funding can sustain the health center.  Supporters like you make it possible for children to receive the care they need, no matter the crisis or country. In Gaza, where famine has been confirmed, our two clinics have provided medical interventions, supplements and high calorie biscuits and pastes to malnourished children and mothers — reaching over 113,000 people, including over 42,000 children. In Myanmar, where a 7.7 magnitude earthquake destroyed lives and livelihoods, we’ve distributed clean water, emergency kits and other essentials to over 180,000 people, including nearly 50,000 children.  It can’t be overstated how much supporters like you helped us show up for children facing unimaginable crises in 2025 — from hunger and conflict to devastating humanitarian aid cuts.
