CBS News is reporting that the Trump administration improperly released my personal records from my time in the Navy. It's a shameful attempt to smear my record. This is a wildly unprecedented — and blatantly illegal — weaponization of the federal government. All part of an effort to ensure that the president's preferred candidate wins an election. These military records detail my early life, and go so far as to include my Social Security Number and insurance records.
