Friend, Republicans aren't wasting any time trying to ram the largest Medicaid cuts we've ever seen through the Senate, so I'll keep this quick:
1. As you read this, Republicans' Big, Ugly Betrayal of a bill sits before the Senate.
2. So right now, I'm working with my colleagues to do everything in our power to block these cuts and stop them from giving billionaires a massive tax break while forcing the middle class to foot the bill.
3. That's why I need to hear from folks like you, friend, as my team and I work around the clock to fight for a budget that actually supports working families in Washington state and across the country.
We cannot – and will not – stand by as they try to cut off lifelines like Medicaid and food stamps and then turn around and cut a massive check to billionaires like President Trump and Elon Musk.
