| It's Teacher Appreciation Week — a time to celebrate the vital work our educators do to shape all of our lives.
We all know: A good educator means everything.
Unfortunately, Donald Trump and extremist Republicans don't appreciate educators. In fact, they've put our public education system on the chopping block — attempting to cut funding for public schools, dismantle teacher training and D.E.I. programs, and close the Department of Education.
So today, we're gathering 15,000 signatures to thank educators for their tireless work and show Trump that we will always have their backs: We should be doing everything we can to support educators — not ripping away resources that help them do their jobs.
That's exactly what Trump is attempting to do:
