| Friend, every May 1, working folks across the globe come together to mark International Workers' Day – what we call May Day. |
| It's a day to celebrate and honor the labor movement and the folks who fought – and continue to fight – for safer workplaces, fair wages and a thriving middle class. |
| And this year, it couldn't come at a more urgent time: Donald Trump, Elon Musk and their billionaire friends are doing everything they can to dismantle unions, strip workers' rights and prop up a system that only helps the wealthy and well-connected, not hard-working folks. |
| But I've got news for them: American workers built this country and we're not backing down. |
