Friend – last week, Senate Republicans wasted no time passing the most pro-billionaire, anti-middle-class budget I have ever seen.
This budget puts funding for programs like SNAP, Medicaid, and Medicare in the woodchipper all to make way for Republicans' ultimate goal of more tax breaks for billionaires. And as if it couldn't get any worse, it does NOTHING to stop Trump and Elon Musk's slashing of federal agencies – in fact, it doubles down on it!
I stayed up all night to help offer amendments that would protect people's health care, restore lifesaving research at NIH, help make housing more affordable, prohibit tax cuts for people who earn over $1 billion dollars, and so much more. Senate Republicans blocked every single one of them.
We have to get loud and send a clear message to Senate Republicans to stop their pro-billionaire agenda and actually get to work for the American people. So I need your help – and signature.
