You might ask yourself if chipping in $5 actually makes a difference to a political campaign. Before I ran for office, I asked myself that same question.
The answer is absolutely, yes!
Here's exactly what $5 can buy a campaign to reach voters:
- 250 digital ad impressions
- 8 pieces of mail
- 10 doors canvassed (you can increase this number by volunteering!)
In many close races, voter turnout will determine the final outcome. Campaigns are in high-gear trying to get as many supporters as they can to the polls. Voter contact efforts, made possible by your $5 donation, remind people what's at stake and how important it is for them to make their voices heard.
The House majority could be determined by just a few competitive races here in California, which is why I'm doing everything I can to help folks like Dave Min, Will Rollins, and Derek Tran win—from financial resources to supporting their Get Out The Vote events.
