1️⃣ Arizona: State Republicans uphold an 1864 total abortion ban In Arizona, Republican lawmakers refused to repeal a total abortion ban after it was reinstated by the state Supreme Court, in the most extreme restriction of reproductive freedoms we have seen from the state thus far. This ban proves how antiquated and harmful the GOP's anti-abortion agenda truly is → 2️⃣ Maine: Republican blames mass shooting on God's wrath over abortion law In Maine, during a House debate this week, Republican lawmaker insinuated that the state's new abortion protections were partially responsible for a horrific mass shooting months later. This not only demonstrates Republicans' delusional anti-abortion radicalism, but also the extreme mental gymnastics the GOP is willing to perform to make their arguments → 3️⃣ New Hampshire: Republicans pass a bill requiring teachers to out LGBTQ+ students to parents In New Hampshire, LGBTQ+ advocates are gravely concerned following the passage of a bill that will require teachers to out their LGBTQ+ students to their parents.
