UPDATE: Watchdog says DeJoy may need to have some of his authority pulled back |
Should the USPS Board of Governors finally FIRE Postmaster General Louis DeJoy? |
|
Team, Trump-appointed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is destroying the United States Postal Service, one of our most vital American institutions. |
Last month, a member of the Postal Regulatory Commission addressed the USPS’s “new authority to increase rates beyond inflation, weakened service standards, declining revenue and volume” and said “the need for a ‘strong postal regulator’ has never been greater.” |
It’s clear that Trump crony DeJoy’s policies aren’t working, and so far his 10-year plan has proven DISASTROUS for the USPS. |
Since DeJoy took over: |
- Over 50,000 USPS positions have been CUT.
- The price of stamps has RISEN FOUR TIMES.
- Over 200 postal offices are set to shutter at least some of their essential operations.
- The U.S. Postal Service is losing a whopping 59% of its early tenure employees per year, while some remaining workers are protesting the understaffing
- 70% of current Postal Service vehicles STILL DON’T have air conditioning, despite record-breaking heat waves.
- This fiscal year alone, the agency has lost $5.2 billion.
- And 131,000 people have signed a petition urging the Postal Regulatory Commission to stop implementing DeJoy’s 10-year plan.
|
It’s clear that DeJoy is running the USPS into the ground fast. So we need to know where you stand on this critical issue now. |
Please tell us: Should the USPS Board of Governors finally FIRE Postmaster General Louis DeJoy? |
