But the fight for equal pay is far from over: Women still make only 82 cents for every dollar earned by a man. This number hasn't risen in more than two decades — and the disparities are even more severe amongst Black and Hispanic women. After celebrating the USWNT's win, Sen. She just introduced a resolution to finally certify the Equal Rights Amendment, which would make gender-based discrimination unconstitutional. The USWNT's bravery and bold leadership proved that it IS possible to win equal pay for equal work.
