A new poll

Hey, team, it’s Governor Andy Beshear with news from Kentucky. A Republican polling firm just released a poll claiming, Daniel Cameron and I are in a dead heat: Cameron 46.7% - Beshear 46.8%. I knew that this race would be tight, but with polls like this motivating our opponents, I need your help to compete. Mitch McConnell even sent his top guy over to take over Cameron’s campaign. It’s clear they’ll use every trick in their playbook to win, but I don’t care how many attacks they launch against me. I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done for Kentucky: We’ve grown the economy. We’ve led Kentucky to its lowest unemployment rate in our state's history. We’ve expanded voting rights. We’ve defended health care access for nearly 400,000 people. And throughout it all, I’ve never hesitated to use my veto power as a last line of defense against the worst of the far-right’s extreme agenda. Team, I’ve been in tough fights before. When I went up against Matt Bevin in 2019, the pundits said I couldn’t beat him. But we overcame the odds because grassroots supporters like you believed in me, in my campaign, and in the people of Kentucky. Now, I’m asking you to believe in us once more.
