Supporting women and families is one of the reasons I got into politics. As a single mom of three, I've seen firsthand how hard it can be to get by. Fighting for women's rights means more than protecting reproductive freedom — it means taking bold action to lower costs and making sure California women don't just get by, but get ahead.
I'm running for governor to make sure we tackle these issues with the urgency they deserve — investing in child care, lowering housing costs, expanding health care, and fighting back against Trump's efforts to take away our rights. That's how we make sure all women have the freedom to pursue the American dream right here in California.
