Katie Porter here. In 2018, I flipped a red seat blue thanks to grassroots supporters like you. Now, I'm asking you to support Kirsten Engel in Arizona as she runs to flip Arizona's 6th district.
Like me, Kirsten is a law professor and a mom. She's rejecting corporate PAC money and is running for Congress to protect our environment and protect the right to an abortion.
Kirsten ran for Congress in this same district in 2022, but came up short by around 5,000 votes, which comes to just 1% of the vote.
This district is one of just seventeen that was won by President Biden in 2020 but is currently represented by a Republican in Congress. These are the districts that Democrats must win in November if we're going to flip the House.
Kirsten has momentum—she outraised her Republican opponent last quarter. But he still has more cash in the bank than she does.
My mentor (and another fellow law professor!) Elizabeth Warren taught me that nobody gets elected alone. It's true! Now, Kirsten needs you on her team.
