It's officially Pride Month! A time to celebrate the freedom to be who we are and love who we love. I couldn't be prouder to be a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community in Nevada and across the country. |
| While this is a month to celebrate, it's also a time to recommit to the fight against hate and secure true equality. This year alone, right-wing extremists in state legislatures across the country have introduced nearly 500 bills rolling back LGBTQ+ rights – especially the rights of transgender people, who have faced relentless attacks and discrimination. |
| These bills are cruel. They're dangerous. And we need to stand up and fight back with everything we've got – during Pride Month and every month. |
| That's why I'm asking this team to join me in speaking out to support LGBTQ+ rights by signing my petition. I'm looking for another 17 signatures from your area by midnight, and I'm counting on yours to be one of them. |
